Position Overview
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will lead the Education Testing Council (ETC), a dedicated wing of HEC responsible for managing standardized testing and assessment systems across Pakistan. The CEO will oversee the overall strategic direction, administration, and daily operations of the ETC. This position requires strong leadership, excellent management skills, and a clear vision for improving educational quality.
The CEO will also drive innovative and modern assessment strategies, ensuring alignment with international standards, promoting fairness, transparency, and accuracy, and enhancing the credibility of Pakistan’s education evaluation system.
Required Qualification and Experience
- BS or MSc degree (at least 16 years of education) from an HEC-recognized institution.
- Minimum 18 years of professional experience, including 5 years in a senior management position.
- Candidates with experience in testing, assessment, or educational organizations will be preferred.
- Proven ability to manage large teams, lead projects, and ensure policy compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Education Testing Council.
- Plan, develop, and execute testing and assessment strategies.
- Promote innovation and quality in education testing procedures.
- Ensure smooth operational management and performance monitoring.
- Coordinate with public and private sector institutions for collaboration.
- Represent ETC and HEC in national and international education forums.
- Maintain transparency, efficiency, and integrity in testing systems.
